1. ACCEPT WHO YOU ARE
First of all, you should accept the fact that you're an human, and it's okay to make mistakes. Everyone makes some in their life, it should be a lesson not something to make you look down upon yourself. Learn to embrace yourself, believe me it's only you in the end who's always got your back. Try maintaining a feelings journal, it will help you connect and reflect on them.
2. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
Start believing in yourself. If you know you can do it, and you have faith in yourself, trust me the journey becomes a lot easier. Believe that the choices you made were always the best way out even if they wasn't. It's very easy to lose faith and lose your track but believing in yourself can significantly affect your future choices.
3. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH POSITIVITY
Yes, this is a very important step, you need to be selfish on this part and cut down negative people, no matter how important they are to you but if they bring you down in any way, they do not deserve your time. In fact bond with people who you can actually share your feelings with without being judged or mocked.
4. TAKE A BREAK
Sometimes it can be really hard keeping up with reality, so don't be afraid to give yourself a break. It can vary from an vacation to even an coffee break, as long as it acts as a de-stress and helps you take things off your mind.
5. TAKE UP A HOBBY
Take up something you love doing, can help you acknowledge how good you are, although it is advised to take up little tasks and reward yourself with little pep talks when you achieve them.
6. ADOPT A PET
If you love animals, this one is for you. you can adopt a pet to keep you company plus they emotionally bond with you and help release " feel good hormones" which will actually help you feel good.
7. VOLUNTEER
If one thing doesn't work your way try it the other way. Hence volunteering does the same, as you do something good on the outside it makes you feel too good on the inside. So definitely a win win.
8. ASK FOR HELP
It's okay to not be okay, but you don't have to go through it alone. You can always talk to someone who you trust about your feelings, it could be a friend, sibling, parent, relative to which you are comfortable or you can even get professional help. it will help you know your feelings and reflect on them.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE AWARE OF YOUR FEELINGS AND YOU BEING ABLE TO CHANNELIZE THEM.
IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT.
IT IS OKAY TO GET HELP.
